It’s not every day that a lender bravely does what no lender has done before. But Amplifi Capital has shown time and again that a culture of innovation reaps what it sows, and this time is no different.

Amplifi Capital immediately recognises the potential of Honey Badger’s patent pending technology.

Canary Wharf London

Amplifi Capital and Honey Badger meet to discuss how the technology will address challenges common to the lending sector, such as how to reduce application abandonment rates, how to detect fraudulent applications, and how to do both of the above in a way that improves customer experience and increases revenue.

15th December 2022

Amplifi Capital and Honey Badger run an internal workshop to test and gather feedback on the solution from staff members throughout the organisation. Results are analysed and Honey Badger’s technology is configured and optimised accordingly.

Amplifi Capital embeds Honey Badger’s technology into its loan application process. The solution is tested, refined, and tested again before signing off.

Over the following weeks and months data is collected to track the impact of the solution on user onboarding rates, fraudulent detections and revenue.

Today (28th February 2023)

After testing with thousands of new loan applicants, scrutinizing the results and comparing against KPIs - we now have the eagerly awaited insights. So, what impact did the technology have on customer friction? How did it perform compared to traditional onboarding solutions? And most importantly, how did it impact revenue?

Mobile Data for Credit Risk

Mobile Data for Credit Risk delivers the data required to predict credit risk based on a persons mobile phone information. Key data attributes include the network provider, line type, and KYC match information. Working in partnership with lenders we’ve been able to clearly identify correlations between this data and the likelihood of a loan going into arrears.

Open Banking Vs Mobile Data. Which is the most effective in predicting bad borrowers? A recent project with a UK lender compared a risk model built with Open Banking against a model built with Honey Badger’s Mobile Data. The results showed that both models outputted almost identical risk scores. The difference? Mobile Data could be deployed immediately with no customer friction required to calculate a risk score.
